Comfort, Seclusion and Style
Our chalet sits on the edge of Les Laix, a traditional Savoyard village, on a South-facing slope above the Tarentaise valley in the Parc National de la Vanoise. Its setting is absolutely quiet with no through traffic and enjoys fantastic views from a unique position high above the valley. The Chalet is easily accessible by car throughout the year, with private parking at your doorstep.
The careful restoration of the chalet has preserved the original layout of this fully detached chalet over three floors, with a large lounge area including an attic on the top and two floors with five bedrooms below. It has great outdoor access with a wrap-around balcony with East, South and West facing views as well as a terrace below.
The top floor lounge, the salle familiale, is a stunning example of alpine open plan living. It is the heart of Chalet Rosière. Here you can curl up with a book from our library in front of a gorgeous open fire, listen to music, or enjoy a family movie night after an adrenaline fuelled day of sports. It also features an open plan kitchen with modern amenities and a generous dining table.
Boutique ski accommodation is not just for winter. Discerning travellers have been heading to the mountains in summer for years. A summer holiday at Chalet Rosière is hot and fresh thanks to our South-facing situation and altitude of 1440 meters. Clean air, beautiful wildflowers and stunning sunsets are food for the soul.
The chalet sleeps ten in five bedrooms, plus two in the mezzanine, and has four bathrooms. Chalet Rosière’s luxurious bedrooms are named after local totemic animals. Each one has been styled individually, as we have put our hearts and souls into it. Our sumptuous woolen blankets, deep inviting beds and superior thread count will draw you in.
