From the 19th-26th March our idyllic rural hideaway in the French Alps will play host to a week of snow sports, yoga and chunky tunes. We’re very excited to introduce ~ The Deep House Chronicles ~ a ski yoga retreat set to house music! We’ll be making the most of our yoga studio’s incredible sound system and yoga teacher Kelly Brooks’ epic playlists to create a yoga experience that will enhance your mountain sport activities and set you roaring into the approaching springtime!

Chalet Rosière


In honour of the teetotal rave sensation that has been taking the world by storm, led by names such as Morning Gloryville and Love is Key, this retreat will be an alcohol free, detox focussed experience set to both killer beats and blissed out chillout music in turn. You will leave on a high ~ a head-to-toe spine tingling healthy high ~ ready to tackle whatever comes your way with humour, stamina and an open heart.




Kelly Brooks Yoga


Kelly Brooks is a talented London based yoga teacher who teaches privately and at Soho House. Her ‘bending to the beat’ yoga classes are completely keyed into the wellbeing zeitgeist. Set to deep house music, Kelly chooses her beats to synchronize seamlessly with breath and movement. The result is a deliciously funky experience and a mind, body and soul reset without the stuffiness of more serious yoga environments. This is yoga at its best, approachable, fun and enlivening.

Kelly Brooks teaches a mix of Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow yoga with a strong focus on alignment because of her background in Iyengar. In our opinion this is the ideal blend for Ski Yoga practice as it achieves the necessary balance between alignment, flexibility and strength. Kelly’s classes are designed to build strength while relaxing the mind and reviving the body. You don’t need to Om or chant in Kelly’s classes. Just be open to trying something new, improving your fitness and getting a groove on.

Morning yoga will focus on warming up the body in preparation for skiing and snowboarding, in order to improve strength and balance and to protect against injury. Evening sessions will introduce deep stretches with a strong focus on breathing to reduce tension and soreness, and to release the adrenaline that builds up from a day on the slopes. Throughout the course of the week Kelly will teach us the components of a beautiful sequence that will be put together towards the end of the week in a seamless flow.


L'Atelier ~ The Chalet Rosière Yoga Studio


Morning yoga sessions will be 75 minutes long.

Evening yoga sessions will be 60 minutes long with some extended 90-minute classes toward the end of the week.

* First day will be extended to fully prepare muscles for the snow sports to follow – first day morning yoga will be 90 minutes, first day evening yoga will be 120 minutes



All Full Moon Ski Yoga Retreat Participants will be able to enjoy the talent of our exclusive masseuse Rebeka Coverdale. We offer a choice of Sports, Thai, Indonesian, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Indian Head or Facial Massage at Chalet Rosière. A luxurious 45-minute holistic massage treatment is included for all participants in the retreat price.



Talented chef Iain Ross will be serving delicious detox vegetarian meals that will be both healing and enlivening. There will be no shortage of guilt-free sweet treats and snacks available for post-ski hunger pangs. Produce will be fresh and local and we will happily accommodate any vegan, gluten free or other dietary requirements.


Full Moon

Just like the founders of the legendary full moon parties of Goa, we believe that each full moon is something to celebrate. It is an awe-inspiring universe we live in and the full moon is a symbol of that wonder. Whether you are a veritable lunatic or barely notice the moon’s waxing or waning, our moonlit fields of snow are something that everyone should have a chance to ponder.



The Deep House Chronicles ~ The Schedule

Saturday – Travel Day

Early bird train arrivals at Bourg-Saint-Maurice will be ferried up the mountain and greeted with healthy hot chocolate and pastries at Chalet Rosière followed by a forest walk. You will then be taken up to La Rosière resort to have your equipment fitted before the main rush, and will have an opportunity to explore. A light lunch will later be served at Chalet Rosière.

Airport arrivals will be greeted at Grenoble Airport at 10:30 am. The drive is approximately 2 hours long.

Upon arriving at Chalet Rosière the entire group will come for a welcome lunch and cacao ceremony.

Guests will then have a chance to ease out travel knots with an outdoor hot tub session before the retreat commences with light stretching and a welcome meditation, after which an early dinner will be served for hungry travel tummies.


Sunday – Grounding Day

Having hosted many weary friends over the years, we know that taking a day to adjust to the altitude and a change of pace is essential if you want to get the most out of your mountain experience. Additionally we believe that extensive yoga is a must on the first day to prepare muscles for the week ahead. That is why Sunday is a strictly no skiing day.

Kelly Brooks, our talented yoga teacher and DJ for the week, will ease us in with an extended warm up yoga session followed by a delicious healthy breakfast.

Guides will then appear at Chalet Rosière to fit snowshoes and take us on a mountain adventure. Wild snowy forests and breath taking glaciers surround Chalet Rosière. We find exploring the local terrain to be an incredible way to regain a sense of place for city or travel tired friends. Snowshoeing is also an ideal way to train for more strenuous activities to follow. A packed lunch will be provided.




After a delicious detox tea, massages and some hot tub time Kelly will lead an extended mountain sport preparation yoga session followed by healthy dinner.


Monday – Mountain Day

We’ll be up with the birds this morning for an early heart-warming yoga session followed by a hearty breakfast and a shuttle up to the resort.

After getting equipment fitted and booking lessons for beginners it will be time to tear up the mountain until the return shuttle late afternoon.

After a delicious detox tea, massages and some hot tub time Kelly will lead an extended mountain sport preparation yoga session followed by healthy dinner.



Weekdays will follow a similar format. A shuttle up to the mountain for a day of skiing or snowboarding will follow yoga and healthy breakfasts in the mornings. Morning yoga sessions will focus on pre sport stretching to help the body move more fluidly on piste and to protect against injury.

After a full day of high-octane mountain fun a shuttle will return you to Chalet Rosière for late afternoon teatime. Early evenings will be free for you to enjoy massage treatments, the hot tub or our extensive library and the open fire. Evening yoga session will focus on post sport muscle recovery and post adrenaline relaxation, while improving strength, balance and flexibility to help you take your skiing/snowboarding to the next level the following day. A delicious healthy vegetarian dinner will follow.


Muscle Soothing in the Outdoor Hot Tub


On Tuesday 4-night participants will be greeted at Lyon airport at 12 noon. After a light lunch you will be driven to La Rosière to have ski or snowboard equipment fitted, and then return to the Chalet to join the rest of the team for teatime and evening yoga.

Variations to the Daily Schedule

  • Wednesday evening is movie night
  • Wednesday evening you will be whisked off on a secret mountain dining adventure
  • Thursday evening yoga is extended (90 minutes) to incorporate a Yoga Nidra meditation
  • Friday evening yoga is extended (90 minutes) to incorporate the sequences we have learned throughout the week into a seamless celebratory flow to chunky House Music


Saturday – Travel Home Day

After an early breakfast airport transfer will be leaving Chalet Rosière for Grenoble and Lyon Airports at 6:00 am. The journey is approximately 2 hours but this can vary greatly with changeover day traffic so we advise participants to book return flights home from 10:45 am onwards. Any earlier may be risky.

Travel to Bourg Saint Maurice train station will also be provided on Saturday morning.
